Suspect in DeKalb murder case caught in Los Angeles, police say

A suspect who allegedly shot and killed a man outside a DeKalb strip mall was caught by authorities in Los Angeles, police confirmed.

Wilson Cameron, 30, was taken into custody by Los Angeles police Monday for allegedly shooting 29-year-old Anthony Jordan on June 12, Channel 2 Action News reported.

Cameron was identified by surveillance footage of him entering a nearby convenience store before the shooting, Channel 2 reported.

The shooting took place in a parking lot in the 5600 block of Redan Road, and witnesses said Jordan had just come out of a nearby barbershop.

Police said there is no apparent motive and no interaction between the two men until the shooting.
