Search underway for armed Georgia fugitive

The Pickens County Sheriff’s Office is searching for a fugitive who they say is armed with a gun.

Officials have been searching for Nicholas Bishop since about 2 p.m. Wednesday, according to the sheriff’s office’s Facebook page.

Bishop abandoned a stolen car in Talking Rock in the area of Priest Circle, authorities said.

Anyone who sees Bishop is asked to call 911.
