Robert Meija tried to help his boss fight off intruders that left one dead in a Gwinnett home invasion.

But when he saw she’d already emptied out bullets in one gun, he figured he’d let her handle it.

Meija and his boss were involved in a Sept. 16 home invasion that left one of the alleged gunmen dead.

He told Channel 2 Action News he first encountered the three men after one held a gun to his head and demanded money.

Meija said he was just hoping the slightest noise he made would wake his boss up who was sleeping in a different room.

And wake she did.

“I was in my room and she just started firing,” Meija told Channel 2.

The homeowner fired off several rounds that left Antonio Leeks, 28, of Atlanta dead. The other two intruders got away, but not before one of them fired a shot.

They are still on the run.

Descriptions of the alleged gunmen were released Wednesday and clear video showing the home invasion was released Thursday.

Police told Channel 2 they’ve gotten tips, but so far they’ve led to nowhere.
