Two people were shot to death in separate incidents in Clayton County on Saturday night. Both suspects are still at large.

In Jonesboro, a man shot two people at a home in the 8000 block of Queens Drive in Jonesboro, Channel 2 Action News reported. One of the victims tried to shut the door on the suspect and was shot in the face. The suspect then shot the other person in the home in the side and abdomen, police said. The person who was shot in the abdomen died, Officer Charlene Watson-Fraser said. The other victim was transported to a hospital.

In Stockbridge, a man forced his way into a Motel 6 hotel room in the 7000 block of Davidson Parkway and fatally shot a man. The suspect told the man and woman in the room to remove their pants, then shot the man before taking an Xbox and more than $200, police said. The woman was not injured, Watson-Fraser said.

Both cases are under investigation.
