A 19-year-old is accused of running over another teenager in an east Cobb County subdivision — twice.

Mazda Davoudi was arrested Tuesday on a host of charges after allegedly running down the teen as he walked with a friend through the Bentwood neighborhood off Old Canton Road, Channel 2 Action News reported.

Police said the collision in late February was no accident and that Davoudi targeted two people he was arguing with and drove toward them in his Honda Accord as they tried to run away.

According to Davoudi’s arrest warrant, the alleged victim fled following an altercation and Davoudi chased him down in his car, knocking the teen to the ground and injuring him.

Davoudi’s alleged victims told investigators they saw him hold a silver handgun above his head as he yelled “I gotcha now,” according to Channel 2.

It’s unclear what the argument was about, but the teen who reportedly ended up on the car’s hood told police he feared for his life.

Davoudi is charged with aggravated assault, hit-and-run, reckless driving, reckless conduct and criminal trespass, Cobb jail records show. He remains held without bond.
