A Georgia deputy named in the wrongful death lawsuit of an 18-year-old who died during a traffic stop is also named in a sexual assault case, according to Channel 2 Action News.
Channel 2 exclusively obtained the dash-cam video and the excessive-force lawsuit the teenager’s parents filed, naming four Harris County deputies.
One of those deputies, Tommy Pierson, is also accused of sexually assaulting women he pulled over, Channel 2 reported.
The parents of Nicholas Dyskma, 18, told the news station that the deputy and three others killed their son when they pulled him over.
The dash-cam video shows Harris County deputies chasing Dyskma on a dark road just outside of the Columbus city limits.
“Once the offender was in handcuffs, I placed a knee on his upper back to ensure he didn’t struggle anymore,” Pierson wrote in his report.
The video shows Pierson place his knee on Dyskma’s neck for nearly 40 seconds.
