Terry Crawford apparently thought he was speaking to a teenage girl who had responded to his “Daddy/Daughter” ad on Craigslist.

Instead, Crawford found himself engaged in a week-long text conversation with an officer posing as a 13-year-old girl in Marietta, arrest warrants show.

Authorities said Crawford posted the ad April 21 asking for “young, young girls who wanted to get pregnant” to contact him.

The officer, posing as the teen, reached out to Crawford with a simple “Hi,” which led to an exchange in which Crawford described in explicit detail what he wanted to do with the teen, shared pictures of his genitalia and arranged to meet with her, warrants show.

Police said Crawford eventually left his Pine Mountain home April 28 to meet the girl, but was arrested.

He faces four electronic exploitation of a child charges, according to the warrant. He was released from Cobb County jail on a $115,000 bond.
