A woman’s body was found early Saturday in a Gwinnett County apartment, and police are investigating the incident as well as the identity of the 911 caller who led them to the location.

The body was found about 2 a.m. in the 6800 block of Springs Lane in the Peachtree Corners area, Gwinnett Cpl. Benjamin Finney said in a statement.

The 911 call was originally received by Clayton County authorities but transferred to Gwinnett County. The caller hung up and has not been identified.

Homicide detectives and investigators are seeking witnesses and a potential motive for the death. Also, the identity of the 911 caller is being sought.
