Homicide detectives are investigating a woman’s death in southwest Atlanta on Tuesday.

Officers responded to a home in the 1700 block of Willis Mill Road just before 6 p.m. to find the woman, who died from blunt force trauma to the head, Atlanta police spokeswoman TaSheena Brown said. Her body was found on the kitchen floor by her brother-in-law.

Brown said the victim may have known her killer and this could be a domestic-related incident. No other information on the suspect has been released.
