Motorcyclist killed after DeKalb crash with pickup truck ID’d

A 45-year-old man was killed Monday in a motorcycle crash on Gresham Road when he was struck by a pickup truck, DeKalb County police said.

The man, identified as Vincent Jones, was traveling at a high rate of speed when he was hit, DeKalb police spokeswoman Shiera Campbell told The Atlanta Journal-Constitution.

Jones was not wearing a helmet at the time of the crash, according to Channel 2 Action News.

Jones died at the scene.

No other details were released.
