An argument involving a car apparently was at the center of a fatal shooting Friday night in southwest Atlanta, Channel 2 Action News reported.

A call came to police just before 11 p.m. about shots fired at a house on Bakers Ferry Road, according to the station. Officers found a man in his 20s dead from at least one gunshot wound.

A man also was injured by a gunshot, the station reported. Officers have interviewed him.

“He is being cooperative,” Lt. Charles Hampton said. “We're also talking to residents inside the house just to figure out exactly what happened. But at this time it does appear the victim was the intended target."

No identities were released, and no arrests have been made. The investigation is ongoing.
