Acworth police are searching for a man who allegedly sexually assaulted a woman Friday.

The woman called 911 and said a man, who she was unable to identify, entered her house on Henry Court and sexually assaulted her, according to a news release. She was taken to WellStar Kennestone Hospital for treatment and evaluation.

Police believe the victim may have been targeted, the release said.

Acworth Police Department detectives and the GBI are investigating.
