Atlanta-based Concessions International has named Donata Russell Major as chief executive officer.

The company, founded by Atlanta developer Herman J. Russell Sr., provides food and beverage concession services to major airports in the U.S. and Virgin Islands.

Major, who has been with the company for 28 years, had been vice chairman. The vice chairman role is being taken over by former CEO Michael Russell.

In a statement, Russell Sr. called Major “a natural fit” for the CEO role. The company is a franchisee of Fresh To Order, Seattle’s Best Coffee and Einstein Bros. Bagels locations. It also operates Pemberton Cafe at the World of Coca Cola and provides support services to Paschal’s Restaurant.
