A Clayton County police officer was involved in a three-vehicle wreck Sunday afternoon.
The officer, whose name was not immediately available, was one of two people taken to the hospital from the scene, according to Officer Phong Nguyen of the Clayton County Police Department.
The collision happened at Flint River and Ashton roads about 4:30 p.m., Nguyen said.
The officer was in a police squad car, responding to call, but she was not in pursuit of another vehicle, Nguyen said.
The wreck is under investigation.
