Clark Atlanta to address prostate cancer in town hall forum

Nov 14, 2012

Clark Atlanta University’s Center for Cancer Research and Therapeutic Development will host a Town Hall Forum this Thursday on “The Impact of Prostate Cancer in the African-American community.”

Prostate cancer is one of the most frequently diagnosed cancers in the country and African-American males are diagnosed much later and have a mortality rate that is 2.4 times higher, organizers say.

The forum will be held Thursday from 1 p.m. to 2:30 p.m. in CAU-TV’s Studio A, on the lower level of the Robert W. Woodruff Library, 111 James P. Brawley Dr., S.W.
