Police are investigating after a 70-year-old man was hit and killed along a South Fulton road Thursday morning.
The victim, whose name was not released, was walking on Jonesboro Road near Old Jonesboro Road when he was hit after midnight, a South Fulton police spokesman said. It is not known why the man was in the road.
The driver of the vehicle remained on scene, the spokesman said.
No other details were released, and it was unclear if the driver would face charges.
