Suspect dies after apparent attempt to steal helicopter from Oregon airport: reports

July 3, 2017Police shot and killed a man Monday morning at an airport outside Portland, Oregon, after he allegedly attempted to steal a helicopter from the airfield, according to multiple reports.
Hillsboro police Lt. Henry Reimann told OregonLive.com that authorities were called around 11:40 a.m. to reports of shots fired at the Hillsboro Airport.
