One person dies in Atlanta crash
One person has died in an early morning car wreck in Atlanta, according to police.
It appears a white Hyundai was traveling on Monroe Drive and according to a witness, clipped another vehicle it was attempting to pass, according to Atlanta police spokesman Gregory Lyon.
The Hyundai spun into oncoming traffic and struck another vehicle head on, Lyon said.
A passenger in the the Hyundai died at the scene, he said. Several other people were transported with non-life threatening injuries. Lyon said charges against the the driver are pending.
