Newnan woman wins $400K on scratch-off lottery ticket
A Newnan woman has claimed a $400,000 jackpot from a winning Georgia lottery scratch-off ticket.
Tina Oliver bought her winning 20X The Money ticket at Crook’s Food Mart, 7832 Wells St., in Senoia, lottery officials announced on Thursday. Oliver claimed her prize without much fanfare on July 26 at the Georgia Lottery District Office in Columbus.
Meanwhile, Frances Norris, of Dublin, made a lucky stop in Douglasville where she won $100,000 on a 100X The Money scratch-off ticket. She bought the ticket at Fairburn Food Store, 2741 Fairburn Rd. Norris claimed her prize Tuesday at the Georgia Lottery District Office in Macon, lottery officials said.
Meanwhile, the Powerball jackpot rolled over Wednesday night and is now worth an estimated $290 million for Saturday night’s drawing. The winning numbers on Wednesday were 8-24-35-49-59 and the Powerball was 5.
Friday’s estimated MegaMillions jackpot stands at $13 million.
