Marietta Police are investigating a fatal motorcycle accident that occurred early Saturday morning on the Canton Road Connector.
Mario A. Duke, 26, of Marietta, was driving a 2004 Suzuki motorcycle east of Interstate 75 on the Canton Road Connector when he lost control, left the road and hit a guardrail, police said.
Duke was ejected from the motorcycle and died at the scene.
Witness statements confirm speed was a contributing factor in the incident, police said.
