Family says Roswell woman missing since August has been found

UPDATE: On Saturday night, Charity Jackson's family told Channel 2 Action News that she had been found safe.

ORIGINAL STORY: Charity Jackson left her Roswell home on Aug. 31 to visit a friend in Decatur and has not been seen since.

Now police are asking for help finding the 24-year-old. Jackson’s mother reported her missing, but no one knows exactly where she was headed.

According to an alert from the Roswell Police Department, Jackson’s cell phone is off and they have no description of the vehicle she was in.

Jackson’s family was spotted Saturday handing out fliers around downtown Decatur.

She is described as a black woman with long brown hair and brown eyes, 5-feet, 3-inches tall, and weighing 113 pounds. Anyone with information is urged to call Roswell Police at (770) 640-4100.
