One man is in custody and police are looking for two more in connection with a pair of armed robberies in Dunwoody and Sandy Springs.

And investigators are asking for the public's help.

Marquez Hodge was arrested Monday in southwest Atlanta and charged with a number of charges stemming from the two auto robberies from the day before, police said.

Around 10:30 p.m. on Sunday, Dunwoody police were called to the Chateau at Dunwoody apartments at 4430 Tilly Mill Road after the report of a robbery.

A woman said three young men approached her and someone stuck a gun to her back, demanding her belongings, according to Dunwoody Police spokesman Officer Timothy Fecht.

The woman handed over her purse and the men took the car keys from the purse and stole her car, Fecht said.

Just before the robbery, police say a carjacking was reported in nearby Sandy Springs with suspects fitting the same descriptions as the Dunwoody robbery, police said.

On Monday, Dunwoody Police investigators tracked the 21-year-old Hodge to Greenbriar Mall in Atlanta and arrested him with help from Atlanta Police, Fecht said.

Stolen property from both robberies was recovered as well as two handguns, and he was taken into custody.

Dunwoody Police charged him with armed robbery and theft by taking a motor vehicle.

Hodge is being held without bond at the Fulton County Jail where he is also facing charges for multiple counts of financial transaction card theft, armed robbery, hijacking of a motor vehicle, aggravated assault, theft by receiving stolen property and obstruction, according to Fulton County Jail records.

The other two suspects have not been identified and remain at large, Fecht said.
