Atlanta police were investigating the shooting of three people early Saturday afternoon in northeast Atlanta.

The shooting took place at the Darlington Apartments in the 2000 block of Peachtree Road, police said.

“Preliminary info is three people shot and in stable condition,” according to Officer John Chafee. “Investigators are working to identify and locate the suspect.”

At the scene, Lt. Rod Woody told Channel 2 Action News that the shooting was apparently a drug-related incident. He said the three shooting victims received non-life threatening injuries. Woody said police were looking for two suspects who may be driving a stolen, burgundy F-150 Ford truck.
