1 in custody, 1 at large after operation involving Secret Service, Gwinnett SWAT

One person is in custody and another is at large after an operation involving the U.S. Secret Service and Gwinnett County SWAT, police said.

Kevis D. Price, 29, was captured just after 3 p.m., a little more than three hours after Gwinnett authorities were called to a home in the Centerville area to assist the federal agency.

Officials went to the residence in the area of Annistown and Spain roads to serve warrants out of South Carolina, Gwinnett County police said.

The neighborhood is across the street from Annistown Elementary School.

Price was wanted by the Newberry County Sheriff’s Office on four counts of attempted murder in connection with a May 10 incident. Tiyon K. Sanders, 25, is being sought by the same agency on an armed robbery charge.
