Atlantans react to traffic on social media morning after I-85 bridge collapse
A massive fire underneath an Atlanta highway Thursday evening caused a bridge on I-85 northbound to collapse at about 7 p.m, resulting in major traffic delays.

Since the blaze has been extinguished, city officials have encouraged Atlantans to reroute their usual commute as both northbound and southbound directions have been closed “for the foreseeable future.”
Here’s how folks have been reacting to traffic on social media Friday morning - the day after the collapse.
A few people braved the traffic only to be met with backups for miles.
