Coats and umbrellas will be the order of the day Monday.

The morning commute should be fine, but precipitation is expected later in the day, said Channel 2 Action News meteorologist Brad Nitz.

“A mix with freezing rain and/or sleet is possible Monday evening, especially north of Atlanta and into the mountains,” he said.

By Tuesday, it will all turn to rain.

Rainfall Tuesday is expected to measure about two inches, with some spots getting three, Nitz said.
