A 27-year-old Atlanta man died Sunday after being shot during a fight at a Kennesaw nightclub, according to police.
The fight started early Saturday between two people at Diamond Dave’s, located in a shopping center on Cobb Parkway, Officer Scott Luther with Kennesaw police told The Atlanta Journal-Constitution. A man was shot, but then traveled in a vehicle to the Acworth area, where others in the car realized the man was injured, Luther said.
The victim, Kevin Compton, was transported to the hospital, where he died Sunday from a single gunshot wound, Luther said. No one was in custody late Monday afternoon.
