A 24-year-old man has been arrested in connection with Thursday morning’s fatal shooting in a neighborhood off Glenwood Road in DeKalb County.
About 4 a.m. Thursday, police responding to reports of gunshots in the 3500 block of Misty Valley Road found a man dead inside a car that was just off the roadway, DeKalb police Capt. Stephen Fore said.
Fore said detectives “believe the victim got into a verbal altercation with another party.”
The altercation escalated and the victim was shot, Fore said.
He identified the victim as 27-year-old Gerard Osborne.
Joseph Arnold, who lives in the 3500 block of Misty Valley Road, was arrested Thursday afternoon and charged with murder.
