A scratch-off game ticket made someone a millionaire in Spalding County, Georgia Lottery officials announced Wednesday.
The “200X The Money” ticket worth $4 million was purchased at Kips Package Store on South Hill Street in Griffin. The unnamed winner claimed their windfall Tuesday, choosing the cash option of $2,028,082, lottery officials said.
Another lucky player pocketed the $521,751 jackpot in Tuesday’s Fantasy 5 drawing. That ticket, purchased at One Stop Amoco/BP on Ga. 138 in Fayetteville, matched all five numbers: 7-11-13-17-22.
Fantasy 5 drawings are held every day in Georgia at 11:34 pm.
Proceeds benefit educational programs in the state, according to the Georgia Lottery.
