Starting Jan. 11, CobbLinc will resume front-door boarding and fare collection.

Fares are:

  • One-way: $3 for Xpress Green Zone, $4 for Xpress Blue Zone
  • Round-trip: $5 for Xpress Green Zone, $7 for Xpress Blue Zone
  • 10-trip: $25 for Xpress Green Zone, $35 for Xpress Blue Zone
  • 31-day: $100 for Xpress Green Zone, $125 for Xpress Blue Zone
  • Monthly pass: $90 for Xpress Green Zone, $125 for Xpress Blue Zone

Since April, CobbLinc implemented rear-door only entry/exit for passengers and temporarily suspended fare collection on local buses to align with social distancing recommendations for driver and passenger health and safety, according to a county statement.

Now CobbLinc buses have partitions installed between the drivers and fare boxes to help minimize contact between them and to help slow the spread of COVID-19 and other viruses like the flu, the statement added.

Passengers should continue to limit contact with frequently touched surfaces - such as railings, seats, headrests and the pull cord - and continue to follow COVID-19 safety guidelines by washing their hands, wearing a mask and watching their distance while on the bus, according to CobbLinc.
