Voters soon will get a chance to hear from candidates running for six spots on the Atlanta Board of Education.

North Atlanta Parents for Public Schools is planning a virtual election forum at 6 p.m. Sept. 28.

Invited candidates include those running for District 3, representing east Atlanta; District 4, representing north Atlanta; District 5, representing west Atlanta; and those seeking each of the board’s three at-large seats.

Those who want to watch the forum live are asked to register in advance online. The forum also can be viewed after the event on the group’s Facebook page.

All nine seats on the Atlanta school board will appear on the Nov. 2 ballot. Six of the 22 candidates seeking are incumbents.
