Global Franchise Group, the Atlanta-based company behind the Pretzelmaker and Great American Cookies chains, has added Hot Dog on a Stick to its menu of brands.

Hot Dog on a Stick, which is based in Carlsbad, Calif., operates 78 corporate-owned stores and 14 franchise locations in the U.S., Brazil, South Korea and the Philippines. The chain features made-to-order hot dogs on a stick and hand-mashed lemonade.

Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed. Global Franchise said its employee headcount has increased to 715 from 110 before the deal.

Global Franchise’ other brands are Marble Slab Creamery and MaggieMoo’s Ice Cream & Treatery.
