Man seriously injured in Marietta pedestrian accident

A pedestrian was seriously injured early Monday when he was hit by a car at a Marietta intersection, police said.

David Wehunt, 56, of Marietta, was hit by a vehicle just after 5 a.m. on South Marietta Parkway at South Fairground Street, Marietta police spokesman Jared Rakestraw said.
