Cops: DeKalb woman killed by vehicle, grazed by bullet
DeKalb police still have not identified a dead woman found last weekend in the middle of a street but they have determined she died from being hit by a vehicle.
The woman also was grazed by a bullet, Capt. Steve Fore told The Atlanta Journal-Constitution.
"She did receive a graze wound, but the cause of death was from the vehicle hitting her," Fore said.
"We still don’t have her identified," Fore said. Detectives may release pictures of the woman's tattoos Wednesday if they need the public to help with the identification, Fore said.
Police still have no suspects, the detective said.
The woman was found Saturday in the middle of Glenwood Road near Meadow Lane around 9:20 p.m.
Gunfire was reported in the area before the woman was found.
