Cambridge surprised the state last week by beating previously-top-ranked Pope at the area meet. The Bears moved to No. 1 in Class AAAAA as a result and for the first time in program history.

Ola and Whitewater swapped spots in Class AAAAA after the Mustangs edged the Wildcats at the area meet.

Adairsville climbed into the Class AAA rankings after upsetting Sonoraville, which was ranked fifth last week.
