It’s No. 1 Colquitt County vs. No. 3 Roswell (both 14-0) for the title next Saturday, Dec. 12, at 8 p.m. for the championship in the Georgia Dome.

Two entertaining games on Friday.

Roswell beat Grayson 30-26. Quintarius Neely threw a 35-yard TD pass to A.J. Smith with 10 seconds left. Grayson had taken a 23-16 lead with 6:33 left, but Roswell scored a pair of touchdowns to win it.

According to David Purdum, who covered the game for AJC.com, Grayson took a 26-23 lead with 35 seconds left on a field goal. Roswell took over at the 35-yard line with no timeouts. On a third-and-10, Neely threw a 35-yard pass to Kendrick Jackson. Roswell spiked the ball, stopping the clock with 18 seconds left. The next play was the game-winner.

Meanwhile, Colquitt County beat Mill Creek 52-31. Mill Creek hadn't allowed more than 17 points in any game this season and was allowing only 142.7 yards in total offense. Colquitt QB Chase Parrish threw for a school-record 431 yards, according to Wayne Grandy of the Moultrie Observer. He also threw six TD passes.

The championship game will be the first in the highest classification without Gwinnett County representation since 2009 (Northside-Warner Robins vs. Camden County).
