How the game was won:
West Laurens applied pressure early in the game with a 68-yard interception return by Doryan Gorham but failed to convert the extra point, a costly error. Westside came back swinging late in the second quarter with consecutive touchdown passes to Geremie Mitchell and Steve Dolphus. West Laurens fought back with a 53-yard Darius Bradford touchdown run but again missed the extra point.
