Columbus breaks into the top ten for the first time at No. 7 in Class AAAAA after winning the Greenwave Cross Country Invitational with a time of 21:31.
The lone newcomer in this week’s Class AAAA rankings is No. 10 Grady who finished second in the small school race at the Aubrae Gunderson Invitational with a time of 22:35.
A time of 22:02 and a second place finish at the 12th Annual Darlington CC Festival grants Decatur its first top ten ranking of the season coming in at No. 9 in Class AAA.
Holy Innocents’ is the big mover of the week in Class AA moving from No. 6 to No. 3 thanks to their 21:58 performance at The Rock Ranch Invitational in Yatesville.
Stratford Academy ran the second fastest time of any Class A-Private school in the week to give them the No. 7 ranking. They finished in third place with a time of 23:30 at the First Presbyterian Day –WRHS 4th Annual Run Wild Invitational in Macon. First Presbyterian Day is the new No. 10 team after their time of 24:26 at the same event.
Marion County moves up four spots to No. 3 in Class A-Public after posting a 25:31 at the Greenwave Cross Country Invitational.
