In Class AAAAAA, Lassiter beat Etowah 25-16, 25-19 and jumped the Eagles. Pope swept Lassiter however, and Johns Creek jumped the Trojans and Etowah as a result and took over at No. 5.  Grovetown dropped to No. 10 in Class AAAAA and Columbus made a leap to No. 4 with its second win over Northside-Columbus in the past week.

In Class AAAA, Marist jumped two spots to No. 3 in the poll with a sweep over St. Pius on Tuesday. North Hall swept North Oconee and improved to No. 6. In Class AAA, Decatur fell to a trio of Class A powers (Mt. Pisgah, Walker and Mt. Paran) this weekend and fell from No. 2 to No. 4. Morgan County debuted at No. 8 with a 20-13 record.

Class AA is the only classification with a new No. 1 this week. Wesleyan defeated Holy Innocents 2-1 last week and unseated the Golden Bears for the top spot.
