*Howard WR Alphonso Stephens caught 14 passes for 238 yards and three touchdowns in a 36-27 victory over Veterans. Stephens has 1,102 yards receiving and 11 touchdowns on the season. QB Courvosier King threw for 342 yards in the game.

*Tift County sophomore QB Griffin Collier was 21-of-30 passing for 411 yards and four touchdowns in a 41-33 loss to No. 1-ranked Colquitt County. WR R.J. Merriweather had nine catches for 248 yards and three touchdowns, two that went 96 and 78 yards.

*Grayson QB Chase Brice was 17-of-18 passing for 350 yards and five touchdowns in a 50-10 victory over Brookwood. His top receiver was Evan Sturgill, who had eight catches for 163 yards and two touchdowns.

*Marion County WR/DB Lorenzo Smothers scored five touchdowns - three rushing, one receiving and one returning a punt - in a 54-12 victory over Taylor County. Smothers rushed for 175 yards on nine carries. He had five tackles.

*M.L. King QB Jordan Douglas was 24-of-31 passing for 460 yards and three touchdowns in a 27-12 victory over Dunwoody. Three receivers had over 100 yards receiving - Kobe Ross (7-117-1), Keyviousseea Rhodes (5-148-1) and Hassam Higgins (4-125-1).

Best of the rest

*Adairsville WR Torrey Hale returned punts 62 and 78 yards for touchdowns and caught a 15-yard TD pass in a 49-3 victory over Coahulla Creek.

*Athens Academy QB Drew Richardson rushed for 223 yards and two touchdowns on 30 carries and was 5-of-10 passing for 63 yards and a touchdown in a 42-12 victory over Hebron Christian.

*Bainbridge RB Dameon Pierce rushed for 207 yards and five touchdowns on 19 carries in a 42-7 victory over Westover. With 1,442 yards rushing on the season, Pierce broke the school record held by current Bainbridge assistant Larry Cosby, set in 1986.

*Banks County RB Trevae Cain rushed for 217 yards and one touchdown on 29 carries and surpassed 1,000 yards on the season (1,146) in a 27-21 loss to West Hall.

*Brooks County QB Demontay Jones was 12-of-18 passing for 310 yards and five touchdowns in a 55-14 victory over Thomasville.

*Bryan County freshman RB Devonte Anderson rushed for 151 yards and three touchdowns on 20 carries and returned a kickoff 81 yards for a touchdown in a 42-25 victory over Long County.

*Cambridge RB J.D. White rushed for 233 yards on 29 carries and returned an interception 34 yards in a 36-21 victory over Forsyth Central.

*Cartersville QB Trevor Lawrence was 12-of-14 passing for 343 yards and five touchdowns, all in the first half, of a 49-0 victory over LaFayette.

*Cedar Grove WR Jesse Reverio had four catches for 159 yards and TD receptions of 27 and 69 yards in a 33-20 victory over South Atlanta.

*Central (Carrollton) LB Lamar Daniel had five tackles for losses in a 14-6 victory over Rockmart.

*Central Gwinnett LB Nigel Adams had 14 tackles, two sacks and a forced fumble in a 28-14 victory over Parkview.

*Dawson County RB Hunter Mitchell rushed for 194 yards and four touchdowns on 17 carries in a 41-0 victory over Lumpkin County that clinched Region 7-AAA, Dawson's first region title.

*Dutchtown RB/LB Ja'Tavien Weems had eight tackles, two for losses and one a sack, forced and recovered a fumble and scored a defensive touchdown in a 36-26 victory over Ola. On offense, he scored two touchdowns, rushed for 42 yards on four carries and caught a 15-yard pass. Weems also returned an onside kick 29 yards.

*Eagle's Landing PK Alex Usry was 2-of-2 on field goals (44, 36 yards), 5-of-5 on extra points and kicked five touchbacks in a 41-0 victory over Our Lady of Mercy.

*Heard County RB Austin Barron rushed for 227 yards on 14 carries and scored on runs of 73, 43 and 29 yards in a 38-14 victory over Temple.

*Jefferson County QB T.J. Bell was 9-of-10 passing for 162 yards and two touchdowns and rushed for 57 yards and two touchdowns on five carries in a 56-7 victory over East Laurens.

*Jenkins RB Arkeem Byrd rushed for 169 yards and four touchdowns on only five carries in a 53-8 victory over Johnson of Savannah.

*Jones County WR Shareez Hamm caught four passes for 145 yards and two touchdowns in a 42-21 victory over Richmond Academy.

*Lambert RB Will Kohlins rushed for 302 yards and three touchdowns on 37 carries in a 41-26 victory over Chattahoochee. The victory put Lambert within one victory of its first region title in 6-AAAAAA.

*Lanier QB Tahj Tolbert was 12-of-16 passing for 306 yards in a 48-21 victory over Winder-Barrow.

*Locust Grove QB Cameron Maddox was 10-of-13 passing for 206 yards, rushed for 75 yards and for the second straight game had a hand in five touchdowns in a 49-6 victory over Hampton.

*Macon County QB K'hari Lane was 17-of-31 passing for 270 yards and two touchdowns in a 21-18 victory over Putnam County.

*Miller County RB J.J. George rushed for 205 yards and two touchdowns on 33 carries and caught a 35-yard TD pass in a 41-0 victory over Schley County. The game put George over 1,000 yards rushing on the season.

*Milton RB Cameron Adams rushed for 171 yards and three touchdowns in a 45-14 victory over Woodstock.

*Mount Paran Christian RB/DB Taylor Trammell rushed for 214 yards and three touchdowns and caused a fumble that set up the decisive touchdown in a 35-18 victory over Mount Zion.

*North Hall RB Sam Jackson had 295 all-purpose yards that included a 67-yard reception and 66-yard punt return in a 42-22 victory over Chestatee.

*North Paulding QB Kyle Banks threw five TD passes and was 19-of-29 for 396 yards in a 33-31 victory over North Cobb. His main targets were Chad Terrell (7-199-3) and D.J. Owens (5-132-1).

*Peachtree Ridge ATH Nigel Warrior rushed for 108 yards on six carries, scoring on runs of 55 and 30 yards, intercepted a pass, broke up a pass and made five tackles in a 28-13 victory over Collins Hill.

*Pickens RB Chris Pittman rushed for 220 yards and three touchdowns on 16 carries in a 28-9 victory over Gilmer.

*Roswell WR Jayden Comma had six catches for 191 yards and four touchdowns in a 42-21 victory over Cherokee.

*Shiloh QB Jarren Williams had 300 yards of offense - 209 passing, 91 rushing - and had a hand in six touchdowns in a 46-0 victory over Berkmar.

*Telfair County RB Tyrone Taylor rushed for 173 yards and two touchdowns on 11 carries in only 2.5 quarters in a 35-0 victory over Lanier County.

*Turner County special teams player Briand Wynn blocked two punts, made four tackles, three on the kickoff team, two inside the 20-yard line, in a 33-12 victory over Wilcox County. He took out three defenders on one block during a 68-yard punt return for a touchdown.

*Valdosta QB Seth Shuman was 22-of-38 passing for 294 yards and one touchdown in a 17-7 victory over Lowndes. Shuman rushed for 34 yards and scored his team's other touchdown.

*Ware County RB/LB Jaquez Bolds rushed for 218 yards and four touchdowns on 13 carries in a 36-13 victory over South Effingham. Bolds also had two receptions and three knockdown blocks on offense and five tackles and a pass deflection on defense.

*Warner Robins RB Javian Bradford-Jackson rushed for 186 yards on 11 carries in a 45-6 victory over Grovetown.

*Wesleyan WR Harrison Cook had 95 yards receiving and scored on a 65-yard punt return in a 28-0 victory over Holy Innocents'.

*Woodward Academy RB Elijah Holyfield rushed for 132 yards and two touchdowns and scored on an 80-yard kickoff return in a 28-7 victory over Whitewater.

*Worth County FB Justin Hope rushed for 300 yards and three touchdowns on 16 carries in a 42-28 victory over Thomas County Central.

Lines of distinction

*Brunswick's offensive line of LT D'ante Demery, LG Jabori Williams, C Ty Hinson, RG John Cano and RT Warren McClendon paved the way for 484 yards rushing and 501 yards of total offensive in a 34-13 victory over Bradwell Institute. Rushing for more than 100 yards were Shawn Smith (158), Shaq Robinson (201) and Ben McCloud (101). All linemen and runners are underclassmen.

*Dodge County's offensive line of C Walker Stanley, LG Joel Aultman, RG Aaron Spires, RT Theron Cooper, LT Shipp Dowdy and TE Cade Cranford opened holes for two 100-yard rushers - QB Kyle Glover (193) and RB Camron Young (115) - in a 59-36 victory over Pierce County. Dodge had 482 yards on 44 carries.

*Douglas County's offensive line of Deondre Harvey, Lawrence Lagrone, Larry Leger, Rodney Gill, Jalen Richey and Desmond Thomas led the way for 511 yards of total offense, 338 rushing, in a 40-14 victory over Campbell. RB Darryl Avery was the leading rusher with 141 yards.

*Greater Atlanta Christian's offensive line of LT Devin Cochran, LG John Jefferson, C Nate Richey, RG Ford Higgins and RT Ford Roberts led the way for a rushing attack that piled up 343 yards on 53 carries in a 34-7 victory over Lovett. RB Marcus Young had 203 yards and two touchdowns on 24 carries, while Alex Rowe had 114 yards on 17 carries. GAC also passed for 114 yards, totaling 457 yards.

*LaGrange's offensive line of LT Coy Tedescucci, LG Jordan Ragan, C Alexander Clark, RG Marquez Payne and RT Guy Wegienka opened lanes for two 100-yard rushers - QB Laperion Perry (169) and RB Undriel Copeland (140) - in a 30-20 victory over Harris County.

*Screven County's offensive line of RT Lucas Boddiford, RG Derrick Arnett, C Stephen Thompson, LG Davien Perry, LT Kameron Kirkland, TE JT Hodges blocked for 373 rushing yards and two 100-yard rushers in a 26-10 victory over Dublin. Screven averages 332 yards rushing per game and 7.7 yards per carry.
