Lovett coach Mike Muschamp calls quarterback Brady Tindall a grinder - a player who plays hard and lacks flash.
His numbers were flashy last week, though. He had 314 yards passing and rushing, had a hand in four touchdowns and scored the winning conversion in overtime against Marist.
"I don't think there was a special play that he made that anyone would call electrifying," Muschamp said. "Brady was just steady, making play after play. Converting the two-point play to win the game was a fitting end to his day. Again, not electrifying, just a 3-yard run. But it was a huge run in that it got us a win."
Tindall, a two-year starter at quarterback and also a starter on Lovett's state-championship baseball team, is among the top individual performers for Week 2.
