Lee County head coach Dean Fabrizio was asked to explain the impact that his defensive tackle, AJC Super 11 pick Aubrey Solomon, has on a defense that has allowed 7 yards rushing total in five games.

Fabrizio thought Thomas County Central coach Bill Shaver said it best, as quoted by the Thomasville Times:

"He's a dominating football player," Shaver said. "He's an All-American for a reason. There were times when he was occupying two and three of our offensive linemen and disrupting everything we were trying to do."

Said Fabrizio, "I think that quote sums up his impact pretty well."

Lee County beat Thomas County Central 37-7 and held the Yellow Jackets to 159 yards in total offense a week after they had put up more than 500 against Valdosta.

Solomon's 17-tackle effort is included among GHSF Daily's Top Performances from last week.
