How the game was won: Therrell won a wild one over visiting Westminster in which 28 of the game's 48 points were scored in the fourth quarter. The Panthers seemed to have a win secured when they went up 19-8 with 10 minutes left in the contest before Westminster stormed back for a late 23-19 lead. Therrell answered with a clinching touchdown drive that went 80 yards in two minutes and included a 44-yard pass on 4th-and-10.

Top performers: Chavis Jones completed 19 of 38 passes for 225 yards with two touchdowns and one interception to lead Therrell. His game-saving heave on fourth down went to Arilieus Middlebrooks and he threw an eight-yard touchdown pass to Daquan Evans with four seconds remaining. ... Ricky Wolfe finished with nine catches for 118 yards and one score to help the Panthers' efforts. ... Therrell also got 60 rushing yards and one touchdown from Chauncey Payne. ... Rankin Woley led Westminster by throwing a touchdown strike to Sebastian Mosso and intercepting a pass on defense. ... Chase Williams carried 15 times for 128 yards and one score for the Wildcats.
