Junior guard Elias Harden is averaging 21.3 points per game for Sandy Creek. Junior guards Julian Cameron and Hunter Falconer pace a balanced Woodward Academy attack. The War Eagles (12-11, 6-3 5-AAAA) trail Sandy Creek by one game in the region standings. Sandy Creek won the previous meeting between the two teams this season by 16 points.

White Hall at Buford: The host Wolves (12-11, 7-0 Region 8-AAAA) can wrap up the regular-season region title with a win. White County (17-7, 5-2 Region 8-AAAA) would lock up the third seed in the region tournament with an upset.  Buford is in its first season under veteran state championship coach Eddie Martin.

No. 7 Bainbridge at No. 1 Americus-Sumter: The Region 1-AAAA regular-season title is at stake, when top-ranked Americus-Sumter (21-1, 13-0 1-AAAA) hosts Bainbridge (20-4, 12-0 1-AAAA). Sophomore power forward Nadia Marsha is averaging 17.5 points, 10.2 rebounds and 4.5 steals for the visiting Bearcats. Senior guard A’tyanna Gaulden, a Florida State signee, fuels the Panthers’ attack, averaging 21.2 and 8.7 assists per game.
