Every Sunday, the AJC releases its top 10 polls for both boys and girls. Here's a rundown of those teams and where they're at at this point in the season.

1. South Atlanta (22-1)

Region seed: No. 1, Region 6

Notes: The Hornets play No. 5 seed, KIPP on Thursday, 8:30 p.m. at Douglass.

2. Dublin (22-4)

Region seed: No. 1, Region 3

Notes: The Fighting Irish play No. 5 Southwest-Macon on Friday, 8:30 p.m. at Dublin.

3. Butler (17-7)

Region seed: No. 1, Region 4

Notes: The Bulldogs play on Friday, 8:30 p.m. at Laney. They'll play the winner of No. 4 Josey/No. 5 Glenn Hills.

4. Laney (20-5)

Region seed: No. 2, Region 4

Notes: The Wildcats play No. 7 Jefferson County on Wednesday, 7 p.m. at Laney.

5. Thomasville (17-7)

Region seed: No. 1, Region 1

Notes: The Bulldogs play No. 4 Albany on Thursday, 8:30 p.m. at Thomasville.

6. Hapeville Charter (16-6)

Region seed: No. 2, Region 6

Notes: The Hornets play No. 7 B.E.S.T. on Wednesday, 7:30 p.m. at Douglass.

7. Glenn Hills (16-9)

Region seed: No. 5, Region 4

Notes: The Spartans play No. 4 Josey on Wednesday, 4 p.m. at Laney.

8. Early County (18-7)

Region seed: No. 3, Region 1

Notes: The Bobcats were scheduled to play No. 6 Early County on Tuesday. No score was reported. The winner advances to play No. 2 Fitzgerald on Thursday, 7 p.m. at Thomasville.

9. Chattooga (22-1)

Region seed: No. 1, Region 7

Notes: The Indians play No. 5 Coosa on Friday, 5:30 p.m. at Chattooga.

10. Banks County (20-4)

Region seed: No. 1, Region 8

Notes: The Leopards play No. 4 Elbert County on Thursday, 8:30 p.m. at Banks County.

Notes: The Lady Wildcats will play in the semifinals at home on Friday against an opponent to be determined.

2. Dodge County (23-2)

Notes: The Lady Indians will play in the semifinals at Dublin on Friday against an opponent to be determined.

3. Model (20-5)

Region seed: No. 1, Region 7

Notes: The Lady Blue Devils will play in the semifinals at Chattooga on Friday against an opponent to be determined.

4. Fitzgerald (18-2)

Region seed: No.1, Region 1

Notes: The Lady Purple Hurricane will play at No. 5 Thomasville on Thursday.

5. Rabun County (23-2)

Region seed: No. 1, Region 8

Notes: The Lady Wildcats will play in the semifinals at Banks County on Friday against an opponent to be determined.

6. Vidalia (21-4)

Region seed: No. 1, Region 2

Notes: The Lady Indians will play in the semifinals at Toombs County on Friday against an opponent to be determined.

7. Banks County (18-7)

Region seed: No. 2, Region 8

Notes: The Lady Leopards beat No. 7 Oglethorpe County 61-33 on Tuesday. They'll host No. 3 Putnam County in the semifinals at Thursday, 4 p.m.

8. Bryan County (19-4)

Region seed: No. 3, Region 2

Notes: The Lady Redskins play Metter on Wednesday at Toombs County.

9. Dade County (18-7)

Region seed: No. 2, Region 7

Notes: The Lady Wolverines will play in the semifinals at Chattooga on Friday against an opponent to be determined.

10. Swainsboro (17-7)

Region seed: No. 2, Region 2

Notes: The Lady Tigers will play in the semifinals at Toombs County on Friday against an opponent to be determined.
