How the game was won: Peachtree Ridge scored the game's first 35 points, all in the first three quarters, to coast past host Mountain View. The Lions led 14-0 after one quarter, 28-0 at halftime and 35-0 heading into the fourth before Mountain View finally got on the scoreboard with nine minutes remaining.
Top performers: Peachtree Ridge scored twice on defense in the second quarter. Breon Dixon had a 28-yard interception return for a touchdown and DeAngelo Gibbs turned in a 22-yard scoop and score. Gibbs also hauled in a 26-yard scoring strike from Fred Payton in the first quarter. Payton completed six of 12 passes for 98 yards. ...
