Boys weekend recap:

  • AAAAAA: all ranked teams won at least one game, Chattahoochee, Walton, Mill Creek and Etowah. Pope and Chattahoochee each lost, while Walton, Mill Creek and Etowah didn't play. Pope lost 9-8 in overtime to Lassiter, and Chattahoochee fell 16-5 to Johns Creek.
  • A-AAAAA: all ranked teams won at least one game except for Allatoona, Cambridge, Wesleyan, Kell, Blessed Trinity and GAC. Allatoona lost 10-9 in overtime to Westminster. Cambridge lost twice, falling to a pair of New York schools in Briarcliff (7-5) and Pelham Memorial (16-12). Kell, Blessed Trinity and GAC didn't play.

Girls weekend recap:

  • AAAAAA: all ranked teams won at least one game except for Lassiter, Harrison, Centennial, Mill Creek, West Forsyth and Milton. Lassiter lost twice, including to a pair of Maryland schools in Severn (17-7) and St. Mary's (17-4). Harrison lost 13-11 to Kennesaw Mountain and Centennial lost 20-7 to Blessed Trinity. Centennial is riding a four-game losing streak dating back to April 14. Mill Creek, West Forsyth and Milton didn't play.
  • A-AAAAA: all ranked teams won at least won game except for Cambridge, Creekview, Starr's Mill, Westminster, St. Pius and Marist. Cambridge has dropped two straight and was dominated 21-2 by Holy Innocents' on April 25. Creekview is also on a two-game losing streak and lost 12-10 to Kennesaw Mountain on April 25. Starr's Mill has dropped two of three after Lovett beat them 14-12 on April 25. Westminster, St. Pius and Marist didn't play.
