Last week: Beat Parkview 35-0. Dacula clinched a share of the Region 8 title, the team's first region championship since 2005. RB Kelan Fraise rushed for 121 yards and two touchdowns on six carries. Next: Friday vs. Peachtree Ridge (7-3)

5. (6) North Gwinnett (8-2)

Last week: Beat Mountain View 35-14. North Gwinnett clinched Region 7. Ryan Lovelace rushed for 128 yards on eight carries and scored on a 97-yard run. John Urzua was 16-of-30 passing for 283 yards and two touchdowns, one a 74-yarder to Kyler Knudson. Next: Friday vs. Central Gwinnett (6-4)

6. (3) Lee County (7-2)

Last week: Lost to Valdosta 22-21. Lee County outgained Valdosta 253-113, according to the Albany Herald. Lee County coach Dean Fabrizio was disappointed in the three 15-yard penalties, two for rouging and one for pass interference, that aided Valdosta's 75-yard, game-winning drive. "Twice the game was over," Fabrizio told the Herald. "I'm proud of our kids and they fought hard, but I'm telling you that game was over." QB Garet Morrell was 18-of-25 passing for 184 yards. 7. (8) Milton (9-1)

Last week: Beat Wheeler 35-9. Milton clinched its first region title since 1952. Austin McCloud was 5-of-5 passing for 118 yards and threw an 85-yard TD pass to Obi Fortune. Micco Brisker scored four touchdowns. Next: Friday vs. Northview (7-3)

8. (NR) Mill Creek (7-3)

Last week: Beat Peachtree Ridge 34-7. Mill Creek won its fifth consecutive game and got the No. 2 seed in Region 7. Mill Creek had 305 yards rushing, 126 and three touchdowns on 19 carries by Johnathan Hawkins and 111 yards and two touchdowns on 14 carries by QB Daniel David. Next: Friday vs. Grayson (9-1)

9. (10) Tucker (8-2)

Last week: Beat Lakeside-Atlanta 45-21. Tucker won the 14th consecutive time in the series between north DeKalb County rivals. Next: Friday vs. Tift County (7-3)

10. (NR) Westlake (8-1)

Last week: Beat Campbell 42-8. Dakota Rocker was 10-of-17 passing for 264 yards and four touchdowns and scored a touchdown. RB Jorden Thomas rushed for 104 yards, and WR Ronnie Blackmon had three catches for 113 yards. Campbell was held to less than 125 yards in total offense. Last week: Beat Brunswick 48-19. Sammy Burley returned an interception 99 yards for a touchdown and a 27-0 lead in the second quarter. Xavier Hollmon passed for 179 yards. Ware also scored on a blocked punt. Brunswick QB Randon Jernigan was lost early in the game with a sprained ankle. Next: Friday vs. Starr's Mill (6-4)

2. (2) Coffee (9-1)

Last week: Beat Bradwell Institute 42-0. Coffee held Bradwell to 60 yards rushing and 0-for-5 passing. QB Tyree Park was 10-of-16 passing for 160 yards and three touchdowns and rushed for 50 yards on four carries. Next: Friday vs. Mundy's Mill (7-3)

3. (3) Kell (10-0)

Last week: Beat Dalton 16-14. Kell stopped Dalton's gutsy fourth-and-1 try from the Dalton 26 in the final minute and scored on a 3-yard pass from Cameron Rosendahl to Bryson Armstrong with seevn seconds left to win. Kell had missed a fourth-down pass in the end zone minutes earlier, giving Dalton the ball with 1:57 left. Kell trailed 14-3 in the fourth quarter. Next: Friday vs. Winder-Barrow (6-4)

4. (4) Allatoona (10-0)

Last week: Beat Chapel Hill 42-6. Josh Bettistea rushed for 209 yards and two touchdowns. Allatoona led 35-6 at halftime. Next: Friday vs. Carver-Atlanta (8-2)

Last week: Beat Apalachee 55-17. Lanier led 41-10 at halftime and finished its first 10-0 regular season. Tahj Tolbert was 4-of-5 passing for 102 yards and three touchdowns. Next: Friday vs. Sequoyah (5-5)

6. (6) Creekside (8-2)

Last week: Beat Stephenson 34-27. Creekside took a 14-0 lead on two Felix Harper TD passes in the first quarter and never trailed. Bricen Terry rushed for 196 yards on 29 carries. Harper was 11-of-14 passing for 110 yards and three touchdowns. Next: Friday vs. New Manchester (6-4)

Last week: Beat Miller Grove 29-6. Mays led only 13-6 in the fourth quarter before breaking things open. Charlie Patrick rushed for 142 yards and a touchdown on 18 carries. QB Asahnia Aderhold passed for 125 yards and rushed for 91. Marquez Daniel was credited with five sacks. Next: Friday at South Paulding (8-2)

8. (9) Northside-Warner Robins (9-1)

Last week: Beat Houston County 34-33. Willie Jordan's 3-yard run with 49 seconds left helped rally Northside from a 33-20 deficit in the fourth quarter. Jordan rushed for 109 yards. Justin Alonso was 4-for-4 on extra points, including the game-winner, and kicked a 33-yard field goal. Northside clinched its 14th region title, eighth in the past 10 seasons. Last week: Beat Shaw 48-38. Harris County trailed 21-7 in the first half but overwhelmed Shaw with 537 yards of total offense. TaQuon Marshall rushed for 264 yards and three touchdowns, and Tae Crowder ran for 230 and four. Next: Friday vs. Warner Robins (6-4)

10. (8) Stephenson (7-3)

Last week: Lost to Creekside 34-27. Stephenson's Dewann Ford threw four TD passes, two to Dexter Neal. His fourth was a 59-yarder to Khalil Ladler with 2:30 left, pulling Stephenson within 34-27. Stephenson got a final possession with 41 seconds left but didn't make anything of it. Next: Friday vs. Alexander (8-2)

1. (1) Buford (10-0)

Last week: Beat Stephens County 56-0. Luke Humphrey was 7-of-8 passing for 116 yards and three touchdowns. Xavier Gantt returned the second-half kickoff 91 yards for a touchdown. Stephens County had less than 50 yards in total offense. Next: Friday or Saturday vs. fourth-place team from Region 7 (to be determined today in mini-games)

2. (2) Griffin (10-0)

Last week: Beat Eastside 48-28. Griffin trailed 21-6 but came back to win its 25th consecutive game. Malik Miller rushed for 305 yards and two touchdowns. Sophomore QB Tylan Morton passed for 211 yards and three touchdowns. Next: Friday vs. Liberty County (4-6)

3. (3) Cartersville (9-1)

Last week: Beat Pickens 27-2. Cartersville held the state's leading rusher, Shannon Brooks, to 111 yards on 29 carries and clinched a region title. Cartersville QB Trevor Lawrence was 16-of-22 passing for 237 yards. Next: Friday vs. White County (6-4)

4. (4) Marist (9-1)

Last week: Beat Chamblee 47-22. Griffin King rushed for 60 yards and two early touchdowns on five carries as Marist took a 37-0 first-half lead. Michael Addicks scored four touchdowns on short runs. Next: Friday vs. Whitewater (7-3)

5. (5) Sandy Creek (9-1)

Last week: Beat Fayette County 23-8. Sandy Creek clinched the No. 2 seed from Region 5 and beat its county rival for the eighth consecutive time. Fayette also made the playoffs, for the first time since 2007. Next: Friday vs. Columbia (7-3)

6. (8) Woodward Academy (8-2)

Last week: Beat Carrollton 10-0. Elijah Holyfield rushed for 143 yards and a touchdown, and Jes Sutherland was 16-for-24 passing for 208 yards. Carrollton was held to 112 yards in total offense. Andre Newton had three tackles for losses totaling 37 yards. Next: Friday vs. Lithonia (6-4)

7. (6) St. Pius (8-2)

Last week: Beat Redan 45-13. St. Pius held Redan to 36 yards in total offense, minus-5 rushing, and led 35-6 at halftime. Brian O'Reilly had a 65-yard touchdown on the return of a fumble. Next: Friday vs. Fayette County (4-6)

Last week: Beat Worth County 27-20. QB Jeremiah Hill rushed for 206 yards and three touchdowns on 26 carries in the Region 1 championship game. Next: vs. Veterans (3-7)

Last week: Lost to West Laurens 21-14. West Laurens forced a fumble on Mary Persons' first play from scrimmage and ran it for a touchdown. It was the first of five Mary Persons turnovers. The win gave West Laurens (7-3) the Region 2 title and denied Mary Persons of what would've been its first since 1996. Next: Friday vs. Westover (6-4)

1. (1) Washington County (10-0)

Last week: Beat Westside-Augusta 54-7. A.J. Gray rushed for 93 yards on three carries, passed for 161 yards and three touchdowns and returned an interception 62 yards for a touchdown. Washington County became the sixth team in GHSA history to score 50 points or more in six consecutive games. The record is eight, set by Camden County in 2011. Next: Friday vs. Jackson-Atlanta (7-3)

2. (2) Calhoun (10-0)

Last week: Beat Coahulla Creek 67-0. Calhoun yield only one first down as winless Coahulla Creek had minus-17 yards in total offense. Next: Friday or Saturday vs. fourth-place team from Region 5 (to be determined today in mini-games)

3. (3) Blessed Trinity (10-0)

Last week: Beat Cedar Grove 28-21. Milton Shelton rushed for 163 yards and two touchdowns, and QB Conor Davis scored on a 1-yard sneak in the final two minutes for the winning touchdown. Cedar Grove's LaBron Morris rushed for 153 yards. Next: Friday vs. Hephzibah (6-4)

Last week: Beat Hart County 21-14. Jefferson County won with a goal-line stand after Hart County had a first down at the Jefferson 5-yard line with less than two minutes left. Evan Shirreffs passed for 193 yards and two touchdowns, one to Hunter Gatlin from 4 yards for a 21-14 lead with 8:40 left. Sammy Williams rushed for 117 yards. Next: Friday vs. Franklin County (4-6)

6. (6) Westminster (9-1)

Last week: Beat North Clayton 48-25. Rankin Woley was 6-for-8 passing for 184 yards and four touchdowns, all to Cole Haverty, who had six catches for 194 yards. Isaiah Malcome rushed for 120 yards, and Merrick Sims II ran for 106. North Clayton QB Jamarcus Sanders was 26-of-55 passing for 367 yards. Next: Friday at Laney (7-3)

Last week: Beat Callaway 40-34. Kaleel Abdusalaan blocked a field goal with two seconds left and Dajour Riddle returned it 85 yards for a touchdown that clinched Central's first region championship since 1987. There were 27 points scored in the last six minutes. Damarious Owensby rushed for 97 yards and a touchdown on 15 carries. Central completed only three passes, but they went for 149 yards and two touchdowns, both to Jared Walker covering 80 and 42 yards. Next: Friday vs. Sonoraville (6-4)

Last week: Lost to Jefferson 21-14. Hart County had a first-and-goal from the Jefferson 5-yard line in the final two minutes but couldn't get the tying touchdown. Cameron Fouch passed for 123 yards and rushed for 51. Next: Friday vs. East Hall (6-4)

9. (9) Adairsville (9-1)

Last week: Beat Gordon Central 49-14. Sidnee Johnson rushed for 134 yards and two touchdowns on nine carries. Gordon Central scored its points in the final six minutes. Next: Friday or Saturday vs. third-place team from Region 5 (to be determined today in mini-games)

Last week: Beat Southwest 49-20. Westside led 49-6 at halftime and got 290 of its 306 total yards before the second-half running clock, according to the Macon Telegraph. Donta Pate rushed for 137 yards and three touchdowns on just nine carries. Marcell Williams was 8-of-15 passing for 155 yards and three touchdowns. Next: Friday vs. Dodge County (8-2)

Last week: Beat Wesleyan 41-0. GAC allowed fewer than 50 yards in total offense and recorded its fourth shutout of the season. Davis Mills was 13-of-19 passing for 128 yards. Next: Friday vs. Chattahoochee County (6-4)

2. (2) Vidalia (10-0)

Last week: Beat Bryan County 45-13. Nate McBride returned the opening kickoff 89 yards for a touchdown, and Vidalia led 38-7 by halftime. McBride also scored on a 12-yard run and 49-yard pass from Jordan Black. Vidalia is 10-0 for the second time in three seasons. Next: Friday vs. Berrien (4-6)

1. (1) Aquinas (10-0)

Last week: Beat Tattnall Square 49-21. Ruben Garnett rushed for 170 yards and three touchdowns on 24 carries, and his 49-yard TD run made it 49-14 in the third quarter in a game between unbeaten teams. Liam Welch was 12-of-14 passing for 192 yards and three touchdowns, all to Justin Gibbs, who had four catches for 104 yards. Next: State playoffs

Last week: Beat Emanuel County Institute 42-7. Sal Calderon was 8-of-8 passing for 173 yards and two touchdowns, including a 73-yard TD pass to Jeremiah Mercer on the first play from scrimmage. Mercer had 145 yards from scrimmage and scored on a 45-yard run. A.J. Keene's 70-yard interception returned made it 28-0 in the first half.
