2. Vidalia (9-0, 2-0 Region 2-AA)

- def. McIntosh County Academy, 69-43 (Friday): Only one team has scored 60 points against the Indians this season.

3. Greater Atlanta Christian (5-4, 2-1 Region 6-AA)

- lost to Hughes, 62-43 (Friday): It's the second loss in a row and the third in four games for the defending state champs. Three of the Spartans' four losses on the season have come against Class AAAAA and AAAAAA schools.

4. Holy Innocents’ (8-2, 2-1 Region 6-AA)

- lost to Archer, 67-66 (Friday): The Golden Bears fell in overtime at the Woodward Academy War Eagle Classic after Class AAAAAA Archer sank two free throws with seven seconds left.

5. Bryan County (8-0, 4-0 Region 2-AA)

- def. Bacon County, 75-60 (Friday): Senior guard Jeremy McClendon scored a season-high 19 points in the region win.

- def. Claxton, 68-66 (Saturday): The Redskins overcame a 13-point halftime deficit and scored the game-winner at the buzzer. Alex Simmons scored a team-high 18 points.

6. Seminole County (7-1, 4-0 Region 1-AA)

- def. Pelham, 76-55 (Friday): Jordan Harris scored a game-high 32 points in the region contest.

- def. Baker County, 84-40 (Saturday): Harris led four Indians in double figures with 14 points. Seminole is outscoring opponents by an average of 26 points per game this season (79-53).

7. Thomasville (7-2, 3-0, Region 1-AA)

- def. Brooks County, 80-39 (Friday): Jordan Powell's 12 points led the Bulldogs, who led 44-20 at the end of the first half.

- def. Bainbridge, 57-52 (Saturday): An impressive nonregion win over the No. 8 team in Class AAAA.

8. Model (7-0, 4-0 Region 7-AA)

- def. Rome, 58-37 (Friday): The Blue Devils won the Rome Holiday Festival tournament for the first time since 1962 behind V.J. Saxton's MVP showing. Saxton had 19 points, 16 rebounds, five blocks, three assists and three steals in the championship game. Dwight Hall had a game-high 25 points.

9. Harlem (12-1, 1-0 Region 3-AA)

- def. Grovetown, 63-61 (Friday): Torien Beard took control late and led the Bulldogs to a come-from-behind win, scoring Harlem's final nine points as they overcame an 11-point deficit in the final three minutes. Reggie Reid led all scorers with 26 points.

10. Early County (3-2, 1-1 Region 1-AA)

GIRLS TOP 10

1. Holy Innocents’ (11-0, 3-0 Region 6-AA)

- def. Sparkman, Ala., 49-44 (Friday): The Lady Bears took out Alabama's fourth-ranked Class 7A team, overcoming an 11-point halftime deficit in the War Eagle Classic at Woodward Academy. Kennedy Suttle scored a team-high 13 points.

- def. Hughes, 57-42 (Saturday): HI led by only three points at the end of three quarters, but outscored Class AAAAAA Hughes, 20-8, in the final stanza.

2. Pelham (8-0, 3-0 Region 1-AA)

- def. Seminole County, 77-23 (Friday): Briuna Freeman, a University of Arkansas signee, scored a team-high 18 points.

- def. Cairo, 97-17 (Saturday): Freeman and Quadranique Franklin led five Lady Hornets in the double figures with 16 points each. Pelham is one of the highest scoring girls teams in the state, averaging nearly 80 points per contest.

3. Model (11-2, 4-0 Region 7-AA)

- lost to. No. 5 Darlington, 57-48 (Friday): The Lady Devils fell in the finals of the Rome Holiday Festival Tournament, despite 22 points, 16 rebounds and seven blocks from Victaria Saxton.

4. Wesleyan (7-3, 2-0 Region 6-AA)

- def. Woodward Academy, 71-42 (Friday): Nikki McDonald scored 29 points and grabbed 12 rebounds in the win in the War Eagle Classic at Woodward Academy.

- def. Sparkman, Ala., 47-31 (Saturday): The Lady Wolves made it a weekend sweep at the War Eagle Classic with a win over the fourth-ranked team in Alabama's Class 7A. Wesleyan trailed by four at the half, but outscored Sparkman, 17-2, in the third quarter. McDonald led the Lady Wolves with 22 points.

5. Darlington (10-2, 4-0 Region 7-AA)

- def. No. 3 Model, 57-48 (Friday): The Lady Tigers won their third straight Rome Holiday Festival Tournament championship, led by tournament MVP Anna Claire Atha. Atha posted 16 points, 10 rebounds, four steals and three assists in the finals.
