A few of the top games this weekend

Here are a handful of the top games this weekend, weather permitting.
Boys
No. 10 Wilkinson County at Tattnall Square Academy, Friday.  Wilkinson County (13-5, 5-1 in Region 7) has won five of its last seven games, but one of the two losses during that stretch was to Tattnall (12-5, 2-3), 53-49, Jan. 5 in Irwinton. Wilkinson visits Macon for the rematch. Tattnall is ranked No. 9 in the Class A Private School Power Ratings, while Wilkinson is No. 3 in the Public School Ratings.
No. 3 North Cobb Christian at No. 9 Stratford Academy, Saturday.  NCC (15-3, 6-0 in Region 6) won the first non-region matchup with Stratford of Macon (12-4, 4-2 in Region 7), 69-52, back on Dec. 11, and has not lost a game to a team from Georgia since a 50-30 defeat at the hands of Class AAAAA No. 1 Allatoona, on Dec. 28.  NCC is ranked No. 1 in the Class A Private School Power Ratings, while Stratford sits at No. 8.
Girls
Paideia at No. 6 Our Lady of Mercy, Friday.  Mercy (14-2, 6-1 in Region 5) has won seven in a row and has risen to No. 5 in the Class A Private School Power Ratings. Paideia (13-5, 4-1) is No. 11. Mercy is led by one of the state’s best young players in sophomore Morgan Jones, who is averaging 20 points and 13 rebounds per game.
 
No. 9 Terrell County at Westover, Saturday.  Terrell (15-2, 12-0 in Region 1) took the first meeting with Class AAAA Westover (9-6, 4-3 in Region 1), 62-60 in overtime, back on Nov. 24, in just the third game of the season. The Greenwave is ranked No. 2 in the Public School Power Ratings.
